Director Statement

As the director of "My Hero," I set out to explore the pressing issues of discrimination, greed, and the quest for power that permeate our world today. In a time when these forces often overshadow our shared humanity, I believe it is vital to confront and challenge them through storytelling.

This film invites viewers to reflect on the nature of heroism. Is the real hero the boy, representing innocence and resilience? Or is it the lead American actor, embodying the struggle against injustice? Perhaps, most importantly, the true hero lies in the message itself—an urgent call to recognize our collective responsibility to combat cruelty and embrace compassion.

"My Hero" seeks to inspire change, urging us to confront our own desires for power and wealth. By shedding light on these themes, I hope to spark a dialogue that encourages empathy and understanding, ultimately contributing to a more just and peaceful world. Together, we can create a narrative that transcends individual stories and unites us in our shared humanity.

In making this film, I aspire to remind audiences that each of us has the potential to be a hero in our own right—through our actions, choices, and willingness to stand up for what is right. I invite you to join us on this journey of discovery and reflection.
